Overview

The Delta of a Thousand Teeth is a hostile land set inside a fictitious world called Heirbrosse. It is a rich and evolving set of articles, pictures, maps and lore that support a group of tabletop RPG players.

World Anvil system

World Anvil is a relatively new website. It is wiki and community tailored especially to roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons or Fate Core. The Delta of a Thousand Teeth’s inhabitants, geography, cultures—and ultimately its story—is captured as an organized collection of fully original content. To date, it supports nearly 100 articles and dozens of pieces of original art.

Roleplaying management

I’m using the 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons rule set to facilitate a West Marches style role playing adventure on a weekly basis. In this style of play, any number of players may participate and they do not have to attend every session (compared to typical campaigns where four to seven people play together consistently). I use a Mailchimp list to distribute weekly information and encourage participation and scheduling. There are currently 19 people on this list, and it continues to grow.

Content creation

The vast majority of the words in the wiki are my own, often inspired by the actions of the players. Much of the illustrative art is created by the players. The maps are designed by me.
